In a breath...
This week during a podcast I was interviewed on (not released yet), we ended up speaking about breath. At the end of the interview, I was asked to offer one “tip” listeners could take away as a first step to moving in the direction of becoming more of a conscious leader and a conscious company.
Like a person, an organization breathes too. Think about an experience where you walked into a meeting, a room or a building and something about it made you feel like you couldn’t breathe; or, the reverse, you felt like you could finally catch your breath and breathe more freely.
This brings me to the “tip” and Today’s Invitation:
Observe your breath and the breath of your business/team/community/tribe. How are you breathing right now? How is you company/team/community/tribe breathing? Shallow and short? Gasping and wheezing? Expansive and full? Gentle and free?
Check in on the breath regularly, and as a conscious leader, develop the practice of connecting into a more full and free breath and guide those around you to do the same. For many of the leaders I coach, they have begun to incorporate this into their team meetings, and it has created greater connection and clearer communication that has allowed creativity and abundance to flow.

What is within my control to support myself and those around me to experience breathing more full and free?
How might I benefit from observing my breath and tuning into the breath of the people and places I am surrounded by?
Where are the places and who are the people in my life that I experience breathing more easily around? What do I notice about these places and spaces that makes it so?
