What the World Needs Now

My 7 year old daughter is doing a lyrical solo this year. She has been practising it on repeat in the house, which means the song she is dancing to plays on repeat! But here is the gift… she is dancing to “What the World Needs Now.”

As this song echos through our house, I watch my sweet girl, with her soft smile, and gentle movement connecting to the words and message of this song. She gets it. She feels it.

“What the world needs now is love, sweet love it’s the only thing that there’s just too little of what the world needs now is love, sweet love, no not just for some but for everyone.”

All of the greatest poets, philosophers, prophets, and artist that have stood the test of time have shared the same message: love is the answer.

Among all the things you are striving to do and be, might you make LOVE the priority.

Becoming masterful in love, starts with asking ourselves daily…

What would love do?

And then be present, be still, and listen and an observe the answers you receive. This small practice teaches and grows our capacity to act through love.

In the words of Victor Frankl, ‘The salvation of man is through love and in love’.

Grace, peace and Love.
